PawzTails was born out of a very personal loss. Our founder’s Labrador, Jummee, passed away after a hidden battle with tick fever. By the time the severe symptoms appeared and he stopped eating, it was simply too late for the veterinarian to save him.

This heartbreaking experience sparked a crucial realization: traditional pet care is often reactive. We asked ourselves, how can we detect these illnesses before the damage is done? If pet parents had a way to continuously monitor hidden signs—like an early fever or sudden lethargy—they could seek veterinary care in time to save their pet's life.

With a new Labrador RIO in the family, our mission became clear: we had to build a solution so no one else would have to go through that kind of loss. PawzTails was engineered to bridge the communication gap between pets and their people. By tracking vital health metrics and activity levels, our smart collar acts as an early warning system, helping you catch illnesses beforehand so your pet can live a longer, healthier life.
